Privacy Policy

This site has no accounts, no logins, and no shopping cart. The email links on the site open your own email application — nothing is transmitted to us until you choose to press send.

The exceptions are the assistant in the corner of the page, covered in the next section, and the free consult form. If you use the form, we store the name, email, business, preferred time and notes you give us, plus a one-way hash of your IP address to stop spam, and use them only to arrange and prepare for the call.

We do not set advertising cookies, and we do not track you across other websites.

The chat assistant answers questions about Zoracle and can pass a booking request to us. If you use it, we store the messages you send, the replies it gives, the time of each message, the page you were on, the country and city Cloudflare reports for your connection, your browser’s user-agent string, and a one-way hash of your IP address. We store the hash rather than the address itself so we can group a conversation and stop abuse without keeping a record that identifies you directly.

If you fill in the booking form inside the chat, we also store the name, email address, business, website, preferred time, and notes you enter. We use that only to reply to you and arrange the call.

To generate its answers, the assistant sends your message and the recent conversation to a third-party language-model provider (see the list below). It is not used to train that provider’s models. The assistant is not a person, it can be wrong, and nothing it says is a quote, a contract, or a confirmed booking — Zo confirms everything personally.

Please do not put passwords, payment details, health information, or anyone else’s personal information into the chat. Conversations are kept for up to 24 months so we can follow up and improve the assistant, and you can ask us to delete yours at any time using the contact details below.

If you email us, we receive whatever you put in that message: your name, your email address, your phone number if you include it, and anything you tell us about your business. We use it only to reply to you, to prepare a quote or proposal, and to deliver work you have asked us to do.

We keep this correspondence for as long as we need it for the business relationship and for our own record-keeping and tax obligations. We do not sell it, rent it, or trade it, and we do not add you to a marketing list because you contacted us.

This site is hosted on Cloudflare. As with essentially any website, Cloudflare processes technical information needed to serve pages and to protect the site from abuse, which can include your IP address, browser type, and the pages requested.

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand how many people visit and which pages they read. It is privacy-focused: it does not use cookies, does not fingerprint visitors, and does not build a profile of you. What we see is aggregate counts, not individual people.

We keep the list of third parties deliberately short. The ones that can come into contact with your information are:

• Cloudflare — website hosting, DNS, and analytics.
• Porkbun — domain registration.
• Zoho — the mailbox where our email is received and read.
• Groq — the language-model provider that generates the assistant’s replies. It receives the messages you send to the assistant.

These providers process information on our behalf so we can run the site and reply to you. Some of them operate servers outside Canada, which means your information may be stored or processed in another country and be subject to the laws of that country.

Under Canadian privacy law you can ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it if it is wrong, and ask us to delete it. Email us at zo@zoracle.ca and we will respond. If you ask us to delete your information, we will do so unless we are required to keep it for legal or accounting reasons.

This site is aimed at businesses. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

If we change how we handle personal information, we will update this page and change the date at the top. If the change is significant, we will say what changed rather than quietly revising the text.
